I feel it is only appropriate to offer to pray with or for victims of disasters. Some people who were spiritually in doubt or anger may not want it at the time it is offered but may later as healing begins. Every one has their own way of dealing with trauma and in time those ways may change. No ones healing process is the same or requires the same amount of time to achieve. I have cried so many times with my patients and families that i can not count them. I believe that this helps them understand that we are human and truly care. I have heard many times that people feel medical professionals have no feels or care about what happens to them. When someone has lost a loved one and comes to view their body before going to the morgue, seeing the last person who provided care to the patient crying provides comfort. Even when i tried not to cry, looking into the watery eyes of people expressing their emotional lost or fear always makes me cry. Im such a baby 🙂 I NEED YOU TO COMMENT FROM THIS POST, NO MORE THAN 150 WORDS NEEDED AND A REFERENCE PLEASE.
