The theme of the book is the impact of Philadelphia on engineering technology – not the other way around. At this point, however, I think you should stick with this topic. The chapter theme is civil archeticture environment engineering. You should based on the chapter and write a proposal. I would suggest that you focus primarily of the contributions to Civil Architecture by Philadelphia University. You can identify what buildings and structures were the direct result of Philadelphia University civil architects and engineers. This will allow you to narrow the focus of your paper and to delve a bit into the history of Philadelphia University. It can provide you with good primary sources (early newspaper accounts about Philadelphia University or early publications from the University itself). How does this sound?
