The easiest way to find the of an equation like ##3x-5y=3##
is to re-arrange it into a slope-point form ##(y-y_0) = m(x-x_0)## where it is really only the ##m## slope we are interested in.
##3x-5y=3##
##rarr -5y = -3x +3##
##rarr y = 3/5x -3/5##
##rarr (y-0) = 3/5 (x-1)##
and the slope is ##3/5##
