Religion assignment(Written Reflection)
Instructions
Your Second Written Reflection presents your engagement with ONE of the non-Christian religious traditions we have covered in our course. Please follow these instructions for the assignment:
1. Choose one of the non-Christian religious traditions we have studied in this course (Buddhism, or Judaism, or Islam).
2. Discuss some of the key questions and/or basic concepts we used to study that religious tradition (How did we study it?).
3. Describe at least three of the fundamentals (beliefs, practices, teachings, exemplars) that emerged in our study of that tradition.
4. Suggest how these fundamentals shape that tradition’s understanding of what it means to be human?
The project must be typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, and double-spaced, with one-inch margins, in MS-Word.
Length: 2-3 pages; a fourth page is fine. Do not include a fifth page. Cite page numbers or passage sections; A bibliography/works cited page is welcome but not strictly necessary.
Grading criteria: 1-10 percentage points; two points each based on: 1) substance of written content; 2) coherent structure, including spelling and grammar; 3) an argument or point clearly conveyed; 4) proof of engagement with reading (i.e., citations); 5) maintenance of required length and formatting.
I posed our course about this assignment, please choose one of Buddhism, or Judaism, or Islam as topic and read the related content, and I need A score.
