What is a binary acid and how do you name them?

A binary acid is an acid containing two , the hydrogen atom and a more electronegative element. Its name is prefixed with hydro and ends with the second element’s name suffixed with “ic”.
Example: ##H_2S## reads as hydro-sulfuric acid.
##HI## reads as hydro-iodic acid
##HBr## reads as hydro-bromic acid
