Who was president during World War I?
February 20th, 2023
Woodrow Wilson was the president of the United States during World War I.
The 28th president of the United States, Woodrow Wilson led America throughout the whole World War (I). At first, he advocated peace and democracy, but when the situation grew dire, he led the US in declaring war on Germany in 1917. Hence, World War I began.
Here is a photo of Woodrow Wilson. Just by looking at his countenance, it can be deduced that he was a very thoughtful man (which he was). He preferred democracy over war.
Hope this helps!
